Ever since starting SCURO at 19, I never thought we would get to where we are now. But here we are!

Since I was 14, I waitressed at restaurants during my time off. face painted for birthdays, and live painted at weddings. Eventually, at 19, I saved up enough to open my own studio.

There were countless nights of sacrifice, fear, and doubt. I didn’t know if we would make it, but little by little, we grew. SCURO’s success took a tribe of friends and family who believed in my vision, helped build the studio, and supported me when I felt like giving up.

I had no business experience, but I let life teach me. As a dropout armed with just a PSLE certificate, I plan to continue defying the limits of what people think an average, young girl can do.

At SCURO, our philosophy is simple: passion is everything. I believe that if you are brave enough to try, humble enough to learn, and driven by that burning passion, you can do great things.
